.DISCUSSION...
Issued at 133 PM EDT Fri Jul 25 2025

A few scattered showers and storms expected later this afternoon,
mainly developing inland and moving towards the coast this evening.
However after today, temperatures will be on the rise as rain
chances drop. High pressure at the surface and ridging aloft will
keep this pattern locked in through the middle of next week. The
limited rain coverage this weekend into early next week will allow
temperatures to soar. High temperatures will reach the mid to upper
90s and triple digit heat indices are expected through the weekend
into next week. Heat advisories likely Sunday-Tuesday. It will be
extremely important through this period to take extra precautions
against the heat. Take frequent breaks out of the heat, drink plenty
of water, or, if possible, stay inside as much as possible.

Conditions begin to improve Wednesday as the ridging aloft moves
away from the area. A surface trough builds over the SE bringing
more moisture. Rain chances will increase and temperatures will
begin to drop back down to near normal.

.AVIATION...
(18Z TAFS)
Issued at 133 PM EDT Fri Jul 25 2025

VFR conditions prevail. Scattered showers and storms are expected to
develop inland and move towards this coast this evening, and could
be in the vicinity of terminals. Strong, gusty winds possible with
nearby storms. Quiet, VFR conditions return overnight.

&&

.MARINE...
Issued at 133 PM EDT Fri Jul 25 2025

Marine concerns remain low as high pressure builds into the area.
Winds expected to remain below 10kts through the weekend. Only a
slight chance of shower or thunderstorm activity this weekend is
expected as dry air moves over the area. However temperatures will
be scorching, so be sure to drink plenty of water when enjoying
water activities.

&&

.FIRE WEATHER...
Issued at 133 PM EDT Fri Jul 25 2025

Fire weather concerns remain limited as humidity levels remain
above critical levels even with the drier air moving in.
